Terms of Service

The service

This site generates Texas estate planning documents — HIPAA Authorization, Statutory Durable Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, Designation of Guardian (Minor or Adult), Directive to Physicians, Transfer on Death Deed, Simple Will, and a Special Needs Trust — from standard templates, populated with the information you enter and unlocked after payment. It is a self-service document generation tool.

Not legal advice

This service does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. You are responsible for reviewing the generated document(s) for accuracy and, where appropriate, having them reviewed by a licensed attorney before signing, witnessing, notarizing, or recording them. If your situation involves a complex Will, Trust, or Asset Protection Plan, or anything beyond a straightforward single-document need, use the "Talk to an Attorney" consultation instead of a standard template.

Accuracy of information

The document(s) are only as accurate as the information you provide. You are responsible for entering correct names, addresses, and other details, and for following each document's execution requirements (such as witnesses or notarization) exactly — a document that is not properly signed and witnessed or notarized may not be legally valid even if its content is correct.

"As is" and "as available" basis

All content, tools, and documents provided through this website are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimer of output and user reliance

By using this site, you acknowledge and agree that:

Payment and refunds

All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds. Documents are provided "as is" and "where is," with all faults.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business interruption, or other intangible losses) arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or inability to access or use this website or its content; any document or output generated by or obtained through the website; any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; or any conduct or content of any third party on or linked through the website. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory invoked — contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

External links and third-party content

This website may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control, including Stripe for payment processing and Microsoft Bookings for scheduling. We assume no responsibility or liability for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Jurisdictional limitations

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
